the staff was friendly, i guess.
the pool was closed, and i wasn't told about that prior. this closure. the room i got, a luxury king room, faced the roadside, so the constant traffic noise was bad.

the location is DEFINITELY convenient. it is close to the fantastic Dubai Mall. The staff allowed us late checkout, and they stored our luggage. our flight was at night.
i found the service not worthy of 5 stars. the body lotion in the room was empty when we arrived. we asked for the bottle to be filled. a chair was missing by the makeup mirror area. i asked for a chair, but they brought me a baby chair.

short walkreliable service
the hotel is close to the mall. it is easily accessible within a short walk (most of the walk is on moving walkways on a covered bridge). valet service was reliable and fast.
light switches in rooms were a bit confusing to use. it took about five minutes for the shower water to get hot. i detected a slight sewer smell in the bathroom.
